2026-08-18 14:20Inside the assembly workshop of Xiamen Sipu Mechanical, two multi-spindle automatic winding machines have passed the final factory quality inspection and will soon be packed into containers and shipped to Pakistan. These two machines mark SIPU's first ignition coil winding equipment delivery to the South Asian market this year, tailored for mass production of primary and secondary coils respectively.
Primary coils and secondary coils follow completely different manufacturing logic. Primary coils adopt thicker wire with fewer turns, requiring stable tension control. Secondary coils use ultra-fine wire with dense winding layers, demanding precise wire arranging performance. It is quite challenging for a single universal machine to satisfy both working conditions. Therefore, we adhere to the "Special Machine for Special Process" solution for this shipment. The two winding machines are deeply optimized for respective processes instead of compromising production quality with one universal device.
Primary Ignition Coil Winding Machine
Designed for 0.5–1.2mm thick enameled wire. Unstable tension will lead to inconsistent tightness of coils and fluctuating electromagnetic performance. Our machine limits tension fluctuation within ±2%. Continuous operation requires almost no manual intervention, ensuring stable and reliable output for high-volume production runs.

Secondary Ignition Coil Winding Machine
This machine handles ultra-fine wire as thin as 0.05mm. With numerous winding turns, secondary coils easily suffer wire breakage, overlapping wires and offset arrangement during processing. Equipped with high-precision grating positioning, the machine realizes wire arranging accuracy of ±0.01mm. Five targeted structural optimizations are applied for fine wire winding. Practical production data shows that less than 1 wire breakage occurs among every 200 secondary coils. Stable qualified rate guarantees reliable voltage boosting performance of automotive ignition coils.
