1. Product Overview: The Unsung Heroes of High-Speed Winding

In the world of fully automatic coil winding, precision isn't just about the motor; it's about the cut and the strip. A dull blade or a jammed cylinder can stop a million-dollar production line.

SIPU Mechanical provides high-performance Pneumatic Air Nippers and Wire Peeling Blades designed specifically for the heavy-duty demands of transformer, relay, and motor manufacturing.

  • Zero-Burr Cutting: Our precision-ground Tungsten Steel blades ensure the copper wire end is clean and flat, preventing short circuits during soldering.

  • Damage-Free Stripping: Our peeling blades remove tough insulation (enamel) without nicking the conductive copper core.

  • Universal Fit: Engineered to seamlessly replace standard nippers on NittokuTanac, and various CNC winding machines.

2. Air Nipper Body: Square vs. Round (Selection Guide)

Choosing the right nipper body is critical for machine integration. We offer two distinct series:

Type A: Square Body Air Nippers (The Automation Standard)
(Model Series: C30F, C20)
The square (block) design is the industry standard for fixed-station automation.

  • Rigid Mounting: Featuring pre-drilled mounting holes on three surfaces, these bodies can be bolted directly to the machine frame or slide rails, ensuring zero vibration during cutting.

  • Space Efficiency: The rectangular profile allows multiple nippers to be stacked side-by-side in compact winding stations.

  • High Output Power: The internal piston design maximizes air pressure conversion, delivering strong cutting force even at standard 0.5 MPa.

Type B: Round Body Air Nippers (Compact Standard)
(Model Series: C20, C40)
The cylindrical design is a classic choice for general winding machines.

  • Space-Saving Design: The smooth cylindrical body has no protruding mounting ears, allowing it to be installed in narrow spaces where square nippers might not fit.

  • Easy Installation: Designed for standard round clamping fixtures. It is easy to slide in, position, and lock securely.

  • Lightweight Construction: The body is built from durable industrial metal. It is designed to be lightweight, reducing the burden on the machine's moving parts.

3. Blade Technology: Imported Tungsten Steel Welding

The blade is where SIPU truly differentiates itself. We do not use standard steel; we use Composite Technology.

The Material Science: Why Tungsten Steel?

Extreme Hardness: Capable of cutting through tough materials like piano wire and thick copper wire without         chipping.

Longevity: Rated for over 1,000,000 cutting cycles (depending on wire gauge), lasting 5x longer than high-speed steel (HSS) blades.

     Blade Geometries:

WIS Series (Straight): The standard for general copper wire.

Angle Blades (Offset): Designed to cut flush against the bobbin wall, leaving no wire protrusion (tail).

WLS Series (Long Nose): Extended reach for cutting wires inside deep or complex coil structures.

4. Wire Peeling & Stripping Blades (Precision Insulation Removal)

Before soldering, the enamel insulation must be removed cleanly. SIPU Peeling Blades are the perfect partner for your automatic stripping machines.

  • Material Options:

    • Tungsten Steel: Best for high-volume production and abrasive insulation wires.

    • High-Speed Steel (HSS): A cost-effective solution for standard wires.

  • Precision Grinding: The cutting edge is ground to a specific angle to peel the coating without reducing the wire diameter (which would increase resistance and cause failure).

  • Configurations: We supply Flat BladesCone Blades, and Three-Claw Blades to fit various stripping mechanisms.

6. Maintenance Guide: Extend Your Tool Life

To ensure millions of trouble-free cuts, follow these maintenance tips:

  1. Clean Air Supply: Moisture and dust are enemies of pneumatic tools. Always use an Air Filter Regulator (FRL) to supply clean, dry air.

  2. Regular Lubrication: Add 1-2 drops of ISO VG32 pneumatic oil into the air inlet once a week to keep the piston seal lubricated.

  3. Blade Care: Never use a blade designed for copper to cut steel or spring wire. This will chip the Tungsten Steel edge instantly. Match the blade to the material.

7. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: How do I know when to replace the blades?
A: If you notice burrs on the cut wire end, or if the wire is being crushed instead of sliced, the blade edge is dull. For Tungsten Steel blades, we recommend replacement rather than re-sharpening to maintain precision geometry.

Q2: Are SIPU nippers compatible with Nile or Vessel models?
A: Yes. Our bodies and blades follow international standard dimensions. For example, our C30 series is a direct replacement for standard square-body nippers from major Japanese brands, offering comparable performance at a more competitive price.

Q3: Can you customize peeling blades for special wire shapes?
A: Yes. If you are stripping flat wire or rectangular wire, please send us the wire drawing and insulation specs. We can grind custom blade profiles to ensure clean stripping without conductor damage.
