1. Product Overview: The Standard for Stability

Why Choose SIPU Magnetic Tensioners?
Tension stability is critical for high-quality coil winding. SIPU Magnetic Tensioners utilize Permanent Magnetic Braking Technology to generate consistent torque without mechanical friction. This ensures:

  • Long Lifespan: No contact wear on internal components.

  • Stable Tension: Consistent output even during long production runs.

  • No Power Required: Operates passively (except for wire-break detection models), saving energy.

  • Applications: Transformers, Relay Coils, Ignition Coils, Motor Stators, and Voice Coils.

2. Series Classification: Find Your Model

We offer three specialized series to fit different installation requirements and wire sizes.

A. MTC Series: Vertical Standard (The Industry Benchmark)

(Best for: Transformers, Relays, and Standard Coils)

This is our flagship series, widely adopted by 80% of winding machine manufacturers.

  • Vertical Space-Saving Design: The upright installation footprint is minimal, allowing you to install multiple tensioners side-by-side for multi-spindle machines (e.g., 8-axis or 12-axis winders).

  • Visual Tension Calibration: Features a high-visibility dial scale on the back. Operators can quickly adjust torque settings without guessing, ensuring consistency across all spindles.

  • Built-in Back Tension: The integrated back-tension arm automatically eliminates wire slack when the machine stops, preventing wire tangling.

  • Key Models: MTC300S (Standard), MTCSS (For 0.02mm ultra-fine wire).

B. MTQ Series: Horizontal with Damping (For High Performance)

(Best for: Non-circular Coils, High-Speed Winding, Rectangular Bobbins)

Designed for challenging winding tasks where wire speed fluctuates rapidly.

  • Advanced Damping Mechanism: Unlike standard models, the MTQ series features a specialized internal damping wheel. It effectively absorbs tension spikes and vibrations caused by winding square or rectangular bobbins.

  • Protection for Wire Insulation: By smoothing out the "jerky" movements during high-speed acceleration, it prevents the copper wire's insulation layer from being damaged or stretched.

  • Horizontal Stability: The low-profile horizontal mounting reduces the center of gravity, providing maximum stability for heavy-duty tension requirements.

C. MTA Series: Horizontal Standard (Flexible Integration)

(Best for: Side-Mounting Machines, CNC Winders)

A robust and cost-effective solution for machines requiring side or flat mounting.

  • Versatile Mounting: Ideal for winding machines where vertical space is limited or where the wire path requires a horizontal feed entry.

  • Dual-Spring Control: Equipped with dual tension springs to ensure a wide adjustment range and precise feedback force.

  • Durable Housing: The reinforced fiber body protects the internal magnetic components from dust and oil, ensuring a long service life in harsh factory environments.

  • Key Models: MTA300SMTA800.

4. Essential Accessories & Spare Parts

Don't let worn-out parts compromise your winding quality. We provide a full range of high-precision original accessories designed to extend the life of your tensioners and protect your copper wire.

1. High-Performance Tension Arms (Low Inertia Design)
The tension arm is the "shock absorber" of the winding process. We offer arms made from High-Modulus Carbon Fiber and Glass Fiber.

  • Ultra-Low Inertia: Carbon fiber arms are extremely light, allowing for faster reaction times to absorb tension spikes during high-speed acceleration.

  • Wire Protection: The tip eyelets are made of Ruby or Polished Ceramic, ensuring zero friction damage to the wire insulation.

  • Selection Guide: Available in various models (CL1 to CL5) to match specific tension ranges (g) and wire angles.

2. High-Density Wool Felts (Pre-Tension & Cleaning)
Often overlooked, the wool felt is the first line of defense. SIPU uses industrial-grade, high-density compressed wool.

  • Dual Function: It effectively cleans dust and impurities from the copper wire surface while providing stable initial pre-tension.

  • Cost-Saving: Prevents wax and dust from clogging the magnetic tensioner's internal bearings.

  • Maintenance Tip: As these are consumables, we recommend replacing them every 30 days or when grooves appear, to prevent inconsistent friction.

3. Precision Ceramic Pulleys & Anti-Jumpers
Designed to guide the wire smoothly into the tensioner and nozzle.

  • Diamond-Hard Material: Made from 99% AL2O3 (Alumina) Ceramic, polished to a mirror finish (Ra 0.2) to minimize sliding resistance.

  • Anti-Jump Design: The deep-groove geometry prevents the wire from jumping out of the track, even when the winding machine changes direction rapidly.

  • Durability: extremely wear-resistant, ensuring millions of meters of wire passing without grooving.

5. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: What is the difference between MTC and MTQ?
A:
MTC is Vertical installation. It is the standard choice for most winding machines.MTQ is Horizontal installation and features a built-in Damping System. If your winding speed fluctuates or the wire vibrates a lot, MTQ provides better stability.

Q2: How do I adjust the tension?
A: It's very simple. There is a Scale Knob on the back.
Turn the knob to align the red pointer with the desired tension value on the scale.Use a Tension Meter to verify the actual tension on the wire. Adjust the Back Tension Knob to ensure the tension arm stays in the middle working position.

Q3: Can I use one tensioner for all wire sizes?
A: No. Each model has a specific torque range (e.g., MTC300S is 14-400g). Using a large tensioner for fine wire (e.g., 0.03mm) will cause breakage. Please refer to our Selection Table above.
