Automatic Coil Line with Capacitor Assembly

For relays, miniature electromagnetic actuators and pulse inductors, the parallel capacitor is an essential protective component. It absorbs back-EMF surges, suppresses EMI and stabilizes voltage during power-off cycles, protecting the coil and surrounding circuits and extending component service life.

Integrated coil components with capacitors combine enameled winding, bobbin terminals and capacitors into one compact assembly. They are widely used in home appliance control modules, automotive solenoid valves and industrial signal relays. However, this compact structure brings manufacturing challenges. Misplaced capacitors, cold solder joints, winding tolerance errors and terminal deformation can easily cause electrical failure. It covers the full production sequence: bobbin feeding → precision wire winding → wire end handling → terminal soldering → capacitor pick-and-place → mounting & solder inspection → electrical performance test → automatic sorting → finished part collection.

Modular station design allows independent adjustment, maintenance and fixture change. Quick changeover is available for different bobbins and capacitor specifications, enabling flexible production of multiple product models.

Multi-level quality checks are built into the line. The winding station controls wire tension and turns; the soldering station regulates flux, temperature and welding time. High-precision positioning ensures consistent capacitor placement. Final electrical testing verifies overall performance, and defective units are automatically separated. Minimal manual operation avoids damage, reverse assembly and contamination, stabilizing batch quality.

We provide customized layouts based on your workshop space, output target and special requirements, with turntable or inline structure optional. MES data integration is supported to track output, yield and machine alarms for smart manufacturing.
